Virginia Rep. Barbara Comstock received a third Democratic challenger on Thursday when state Sen. Jennifer Wexton announced her candidacy.

Wexton joins two other Democratic challengers: Dan Helmer, an Army veteran and Rhodes Scholar, and Fairfax County teacher Kimberly Adams.

In her announcement, Wexton tied Comstock to President Donald Trump. Virginia’s 10th Congressional District is one of a handful of Republican districts that voted for Hillary Clinton instead of Trump, according to the Daily Kos.

“What we don’t need are Representatives like Barbara Comstock who hide from their constituents and vote in lockstep with Donald Trump,” Wexton said. “In Congress, I’ll be a leader who gets things done for all of my constituents, not a politician who plays games.”

Wexton joined the state Senate after winning a special election in 2014 that allowed Virginia Democrats to gain control of the chamber.
