John Lewis Plays With His Cats

Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., welcomed everyone back from the holidays Monday and his cats helped out.

In a tweet this morning, the 75-year-old is “playing” with his two cats while wearing a suit in a driveway with a basketball hoop.

I hope everyone had a safe holiday. I spent some of the break playing with my cats. pic.twitter.com/ETJg4uO5Go

The congressman’s Twitter account is known for posting moving photographs of his time as a civil rights activist and messages of social justice.

He returns to work from winter recess this week, along with the rest of the House.
