House and Senate Republicans will hold a joint retreat from January 25 to 27 in Philadelphia to discuss priorities for the 115th Congress.

The caucuses hold annual retreats to sort out their affairs. Republicans have opted for bicameral gatherings the past two years that the GOP has held a majority in the Senate. This year’s gather will come days after President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in.

The Republicans held their 2016 joint retreat in Baltimore and decided their top priority for the year would be passing appropriations bills through regular order. Both chambers fell well short of that goal, with the House approving five and the Senate mustering through only two.

House and Senate Democrats typically hold sold separate retreats the week after the GOP meets, but the Democrats have not yet announced their plans for 2017.
