Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus announced Tuesday the leaders of the executive committee on arrangements for the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla..

It is the latest move in an overhaul of the convention leadership team that Priebus has put atop his list of priorities as he looks to get the RNC back in positive financial shape.

In January, just days after winning the chairmanship, Priebus fired convention liaison Belinda Cook as well as several employees of the convention arrangements committee after they racked up huge, over-budget bills.

Priebus previously announced that Georgia Committeeman Alec Poitevint would chair the executive committee on arrangements. Announced Tuesday were the individual state appointments and the rest of the executive committee, including two vice chairwomen, Wyoming Committeewoman Jan Larimer and Wisconsin Committeewoman Mary Buestrin.

RNC Treasurer Tony Parker will serve as treasurer of the committee, and Pennsylvania Committeewoman Christine Toretti was selected as secretary.

“The RNC has brought in top-notch personnel in order to ensure we get our convention back on track,” Priebus said in a statement. “I am excited to have these individuals joining Chairman Alec Poitevint to round out the leadership team down in Tampa and I am confident they will plan and execute a convention that will make our donors, delegates, and grassroots proud.”

The convention will take place the week of Aug. 27.
