Craving coffee, doughnuts or ice cream?

You're in luck -- the long awaited Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins is officially opened for business Monday in the Longworth House Office Building.

The site of the former Longworth Creamery will be serving up locally inspired baked goods such as the Cherry Blossom and Capitals Craze doughnuts as well as a rotating flavor of the month ice cream from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The dual starch and dairy outlet will operate out of 350 square feet and employ eight crew members from Sodexo, who took over food services in the House last year.

Dave Cerbin, Sodexo’s resident district manager, said in a statement he hopes the location “will become a popular destination and everyday routine for employees, staff and visitors.”

“[E]arly excitement around its high-quality coffee, snacks and ice cream treats indicate that staffers, members and visitors to the Capitol campus will welcome our newest arrival,” Cerbin said in the statement.
