The House Intelligence Committee announced an aggressive public hearing schedule for next week with a plan to have eight witnesses testify over the course of three days.

Half of those witnesses are scheduled to appear next Tuesday. A morning hearing will feature testimony from Jennifer Williams, an aide to Vice President Mike Pence, and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, director for European affairs at the National Security Council.

In the afternoon, the Intelligence panel will hold a public session with Kurt Volker, the former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, and Tim Morrison, an NSC aide for Europe and Russia policy.

Next Wednesday, the committee will bring in Gordon Sondland, U.S. ambassador to the European Union. Sondland, the witness who’s seemingly had the most direct interactions with Trump, will testify in the morning.

That afternoon, the committee will hear from Laura Cooper, the deputy assistant secretary of Defense for Russian, Ukrainian and Eurasian affairs, and David Hale, the undersecretary of State for political affairs.

The marathon hearing schedule will conclude Thursday morning with testimony from Fiona Hill, former NSC senior director for Europe and Russia.

The schedule appears designed to be able to get in as much public testimony as possible before Thanksgiving. The House is scheduled to recess next Thursday through the holiday, not returning until December.

In the announcement of the hearing schedule, Intelligence Committee Democrats noted that they’ve accepted all the Republican requests for witnesses that are within the scope of the impeachment inquiry.
