Climate change activists take to the streets to demand action

More protests erupted throughout D.C. Monday in the wake of the Friday Global Climate Strike that saw students and adults descend upon the Capitol steps.

This time demonstrations occurred in the middle of major D.C. intersections and streets. Organizers say their goal is to make activists’ pleas for climate action known by disrupting regular traffic flow and morning commutes.
