Our long caffeine-less nightmare has ended: Cups is finally open again.

After several weeks of staffers being without their favorite cup of joe in the Russell Senate Office Building basement, Cups & Company overflowed Friday morning with coffee and prepped food refugees from around the Capitol.

Swirling around the beloved coffee shop were looks of amazement and surprise at the modern renovations within the newly expanded area.

“Whoa!” said one staffer.

“I like it!” shouted another.

“It’s got more space!” enthused a gentleman donning a scarf, who was likely excited to have more space for all his scarves.

The chill in the morning air was enough for some to pull out the plaid button-downs and fuzzy black sweaters for a more seasonal, casual Friday, perhaps even a Barbour jacket.

One young lady walked in wearing a vest — did she order the Pumpkin Chai? We’ll never know.

Senator Ted Cruz also expressed some buzz over the grand reopening on Instagram.
