Joy Erupts on Washingtonians’ Faces as Stanley Cup Arrives on Capitol Hill

After traveling the country, the Stanley Cup made its last stop on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, to the joy of Washington Capitals fans and Hill staffers alike. The cup’s visit was followed by a briefing with Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, the NHL and the Brookings Institution on the opportunity and need to diversify the sport of hockey for the future.
