McConnell, Schumer Floor Debate Gets Personal Over Kavanaugh Nomination

The leaders of the Senate had words with each other Wednesday morning as they opened the chamber. Just before a third accuser came forward with a sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called out one another’s efforts to stall nominees to the high court.
