Roll Call’s 2018 March Madness — The Final Four

Four Republicans and four Democrats left standing

We are down to the final four teams in both the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments.

For the men: the University of Kansas Jayhawks upset Duke University on Sunday night to make the Final Four, which means in the Roll Call version, Kansas Rep. Lynn Jenkins will face off against a fellow Republican, Pennsylvania Rep. Patrick Meehan, and the Villanova Wildcats on Saturday, March 31.

The night’s other men’s matchup will feature two Democrats: Illinois Rep. Jan Schakowsky and Loyola University Chicago Ramblers and Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell and the University of Michigan Wolverines.

For the women: Mississippi Republican Gregg Harper and the Mississippi State Bulldogs will battle Kentucky Democrat John Yarmuth and the University of Louisville Cardinals, while Connecticut Democrat Joe Courtney and the University of Connecticut Huskies will take on Indiana Republican Jackie Walorski and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Tipoff for both women’s games is on Friday, March 30.
