Awesome Disease
Ellie McGinn, the eight-year-old daughter of a former Hill staffer with the rare and fatal brain disease Leukoencephalopathy, challenged people to rename her disease and she chose the winning name: “Awesome Disease.” She also has been chosen as an honoree for The National Organization for Rare Disorders’ Rare Disease Awards. D.C. culture event of the day
A new restaurant, Entyse Bistro in Tysons Corner, had its grand opening for brunch this weekend. Every Sunday, the American food upscale cafe will have brunch from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m., which is a la carte and $36 per adult.
Another bracket challenge?
Every year, Roll Call matches members of Congress with the field in the NCAA men’s college basketball championship bracket. House members are selected by whose districts the 64 teams in the tournament are located in.
