Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway accused some unnamed members of Congress of sexual harassment Sunday night, after a slew of Republican lawmakers withdrew their support for their party’s presidential nominee after video footage from 2005 revealed him making lewd comments regarding his advances towards women.

“I would talk to some of the members of Congress there when I was younger and prettier, them rubbing against girls, sticking their tongues down women’s throats who were uninvited, didn’t like it,” Conway said in an interview on MSNBC after Sunday night’s presidential debate

“You’re saying, ‘yeah,’ because you know it’s true,” Conway told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews.

“And some of them, by the way, are on the list of people who won’t support Donald Trump because they all ride around on their high horse,” she said. 

Conway did not name any members.

Conway said Trump’s remarks in the tape from 2005, where he described being able to grab women by their genitals, were “disgusting and offensive.” She said Trump apologized for the remarks.

“He said it’s locker room banter. … Let me just explain to you as somebody who works with him, who knows him well and who has been alone with him many times. He is very gracious. He’s a gentleman. I’ve never experienced that conduct.”

Conway doubled down on her accusations against members of Congress in a separate interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly. 

“There are members of Congress, current and former, who have rubbed up against women and who have put their tongues in their mouths, uninvited,” Conway said. “Maybe when I was younger and prettier that may have happened to me.”

“In other words, these people on their high horses are accusing him of being this awful person,” she said. “And really the words, I think, that were most harmful is when everybody is running around saying, ‘He’s condoning sexual assault.’ No he’s not.”

Kelly sided with Conway’s take on members of Congress as she concluded the interview, saying, “One of these days, I’m going to have you back. We’re going to talk about those losers in Congress.”

Conway responded, “Yes let’s do that.” 

And then Kelly added: “We’ll out them. And we’ll work on them next.”

Conway continued: “We can name them and shame them. Yeah, guys. Shouldn’t have done it.”
