Supporters of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump agree that race relations in the U.S. have gotten worse, but they disagree on how much, a new poll shows.

The NBC News/SurveyMonkey poll found that 65 percent of all voters think race relations have gotten worse, with majorities of white, black, Hispanic and Asian-Americans agreeing.

But there is a divide between Clinton and Trump supporters, with 78 percent of the real estate mogul’s supporters saying race relations have gotten worse while only 54 percent of the former secretary of State’s backers say the same.

Only 5 percent of Trump voters say race relations are getting better compared to 15 percent of Clinton supporters who feel that way.

The poll also showed where the real estate mogul stands as he attempts a pivot to appeal to racial and ethnic groups he has offended for much of his campaign.

Only 8 percent of black voters support the Republican candidate and only 22 percent of Latinos say they do. Asian-Americans also support Clinton by a wide margin, 66 percent to 23 percent.

Half of all white voters support Trump, while 41 percent who identified themselves as white favor Clinton.

The survey also revealed differing viewpoints on gender parity, with 74 percent of Clinton supporters saying society has not reached the point of gender equality. Conversely, 65 percent of Trump supporters say it has.

The survey was conducted online Aug. 15 through Aug. 21 among 17,459 registered voters. The results had a margin of error of 1.1 percentage points.
