Republican Rep. Charlie Dent will campaign Wednesday in Pennsylvania with Sen. Patrick J. Toomey, lending centrist credibility to a conservative GOP incumbent facing a tough re-election race.

Both Dent and Toomey, who have kept their distance from presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, are skipping the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this week and spending time with their Pennsylvania constituents.
