As Villanova and Oklahoma Play, so do Meehan and Cole

The Final Four is here and congressmen are showing school spirit

Rep. Patrick Meehan, R-Pa., and Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., have jurisdiction over their respective schools and both tweeted on Friday showing their support.  

Meehan visited Villanova’s campus and posted a photograph throwing up the Villanova “V” with the tweet , “Stopped by @VillanovaU to show support for @NovaMBB before tomorrow’s #MarchMadness #FinalFour game in #Houston.”

Cole filled out Roll Call’s March Madness bracket, complete with the HOH hashtag #RCNCAA16. He tweeted , “Going w/ the only school ever to make basketball/football #FinalFour in 1 season: #OK04’s #Sooners! #RCNCAA16.” The Oklahoma Republican received his Ph.D. in  19th century British history from Oklahoma in 1984.

The game will be played at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, and aired on TBS. Following this game, the University of North Carolina and Syracuse will play, represented by Reps. David E. Price, D-N.C., and John Katko, R-N.Y.
