The Korea Herald reports that “The United States military stationed in South Korea had resumed its training at its firing range in Gyeonggi Province as of Saturday, three days after North Korea claimed to have successfully carried out a hydrogen bomb test.”

“The U.S. forces had ceased training at the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex in Pocheon after a missile shot from the facility had struck an unoccupied building on Dec. 30.”

“Local residents, who have been complaining about noise and safety issues, have launched a protest against the military training, as the U.S. military has conducted drills with heavy equipment including AH-64 Apache helicopters.”
