Good luck trying to get a seat in the Longworth overflow seating area for the next few months.

According to the office of the House Chief Administrative Officer, construction on the new Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins will affect seating availability. The new eatery, part of food vendor Sodexo’s makeover of the House side of things, is scheduled to open in early April.
You might also notice vending machines in the overflow seating area — they are supposed to move by next week, when the Longworth Vending Room will reopen.
Normal food service will resume on Jan. 25 in the Longworth Cafeteria after “significant renovation work” over the holidays in the kitchen. Right now the food offerings are limited.
Another sign of Sodexo’s makeover: The Rayburn Subway carryout is open, which serves coffee, breakfast and sandwiches. The hours will be
9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
 Monday through Thursday and
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on F
