Then-Rep. Mike Pence gave a tour of his congressional office in 2010 for Roll Call’s “Office Space” series, which returns this fall.

The Republican governor of Indiana represented the state from 2001 to 2013 in Washington, and showed off signed posters of Garfield and from the movie “Hoosiers” in his Longworth House Office.

“He keeps a tattered Bible on his desk,” reporter Ali McSherry wrote in the original 2010 story.

“Somebody once told me that a Bible worn out is a sign of a life that’s not,” Pence said. “It’s been a great source of encouragement for me.”

Pence’s is the second in a series of previously published Roll Call “Office Space” features that will re-run during the August recess. Check back in September for new episodes.
