Cheer up, Creamery fans!

You may be losing your lemme-see-what-better-jobs-are-out-there meeting spot, but House administrators assure HOH that once the transition from Restaurant Associates to Sodexo is complete later this year, you’ll have 31 flavors with which to self-medicate.

House Chief Administrative Officer Ed Cassidy last month told CQ Roll Call the looming food service swap will include the introduction of a Dunkin’ Donuts — “Word on the street is we’ll be able to order Dunkin Donuts from our desks and pick it up. … I’ll believe it when I see it,” a skeptical House aide shared — and Subway sandwich shop to the congressional campus.

A CAO aide has now confirmed that a Baskin-Robbins is being thrown into the mix.

The exact location of the anticipated scoop shop remains fluid, though our tipster said it was expected to land “along cafeteria row in Longworth.”

Just don’t expect to fill up on America’s Birthday Cake or World Class Chocolate right away.

Because even though Sodexo takes control of House-side kitchens August 10, our source said the build-outs for the new additions are expected to stall full service until the fall.
