Funds from a political action committee founded by former Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass.,  were given in March to eighteen party committees in New Hampshire, where Brown is now a U.S. Senate candidate.  

The PAC reported it contributed $29,000 in March, mostly on March 13th, to 18 local party committees in New Hampshire. The expenditures were marked as “nonfederal contribution.” The committee also gave $10,000 on March 26th to Brown’s then exploratory committee, New Hampshire for Scott Brown. The committee also gave $5,000 on February 24th and $5,000 on March 11th to the New Hampshire Republican State Committee.  

The PAC had been the campaign committee of former Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass. The Scott Brown for U.S. Senate Committee changed its name and type of committee in May 2013 to The People’s Seat PAC. The PAC reported $182,543 cash on hand as of June 30, 2013. The People’s Seat PAC changed its name on March 13, 2014 to the Fiscal Responsibility PAC.  

The PAC reported  it had receipts of $22,803 and disbursements of $141,461 during the first quarter of 2014, leaving $35,231 cash on hand as of March 31st. Anthony Scaramucci, a partner at Skybridge Capital, a global alternative investment firm in New York, gave the PAC $5,000 in February.  

The former exploratory committee, New Hampshire for Scott Brown, amended its committee registration on April 7th to indicate it is now the principal campaign committee of Scott Brown, R-N.H.
