Updated 11:19 a.m.  | The National Republican Congressional Committee raised more than Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in a single month, June, for the first time this cycle.

The NRCC raised $7.1 million in June and finished the month with $11.3 million in the bank and $2.25 million in debt.

The DCCC raised $6.7 million in June and paid off all of its remaining debt from the 2012 cycle, an aide confirmed on Wednesday.

Only last week, NRCC Chairman Greg Walden conceded that the fact that Democrats have come out ahead month after month was a “concern” and he pledged to beef up his team’s online fundraising efforts.

The DCCC still holds on to the cash-on-hand advantage with $13.2 million in the bank. Last cycle, the DCCC did not get rid of its debt until December 2011.

DCCC officials named five House Democrats who have paid their dues in full: DCCC Chairman Steve Israel of New York and Reps. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, Xavier Becerra of California, Henry Cuellar of Texas, and Joseph P. Kennedy III of Massachusetts.

They also touted fundraising help from President Barack Obama and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California and pointed to the DCCC’s success with online fundraising.

The monthly reporting deadline for committees is July 20.
