Another Round of TV Ads for South Carolina

The House Majority PAC, a Democratic-oriented super PAC, reported this afternoon that it had spent $126,720 on independent expenditures opposing Mark Sanford, R-S.C. The PAC paid $113,442 on April 30 to Waterfront Strategies for television advertising and $13,299 to Ralston Lapp Media for production costs. This brings the PAC’s 2013 spending to $406,712.

Democratic candidate Elizabeth Colbert Busch reported receiving $5,000 from the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees PEOPLE committee; $5,000 from the International Longshoremen’s Association COPE; $1,000 from Grassroots Organizing Acting & Leading PAC, the leadership PAC of Rep. Sander Levin, D-Mich.; $2,500 from the United Food & Commercial Workers International Union Active Ballot Club; $2,500 from the Tri-State Maxed Out Women; and $1,000 from SILK PAC, the leadership PAC of Rep. Bill Pascrell, D-N.J.

Sanford reported receiving $5,000 from the Boeing Company PAC; $5,000 from the MeadWestvaco Corp. PAC; and $2,500 from the Fund for America’s Future, the leadership PAC of Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
