Ron Paul Gave $150,000 in Campaign Funds To His Own Foundation

Former Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul’s campaign committee reported it contributed $150,000 on 3/11 to the Foundation for Rational Economics & Education. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization was founded by Ron Paul, and is located in Clute, Texas. His congressional campaign committee had $27,276 cash on hand as of 3/31.  His presidential campaign committee had $1,091,927 as of 12/31/12. His PAC, Liberty PAC, had $75,520 cash on hand as of 3/31/13.
