SEIU Committee Spends $368K for Markey

The Service Employees International Union Committee on Political Education reported yesterday it spent $368,580 on 3/26 for independent expenditures in support of Rep. Ed Markey in the Massachusetts U.S. Senate Democratic primary to be held on 4/30. The committee paid $319,550 to local unions for canvassing services to be done 3/26 to 4/30. The committee also paid $49,030 for staff salaries, car rentals and gas.
