Peter Oppenheim has been hired as an education policy director and counsel for the Republican staff of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Oppenheim was legislative counsel to Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn. He has worked as a managing associate for Carmen Group, a lobbying firm. He also has worked as a research assistant for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga.

Lindsey Ward Seidman has been hired as a senior policy adviser for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Seidman was a Republican staff member for the Senate Rules Committee. She also worked as a policy director for Alexander’s 2008 Senate campaign.

Colin Roskey has been hired at law and lobbying firm Cozen O’Connor as a member in the health care group and at lobbying subsidiary Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies. Roskey was a partner in the health care legislative and public policy group at law and lobbying firm Alston & Bird. He has worked as a health policy adviser and staff counsel for the Senate Finance Committee. He also has worked as an attorney in the health care group at law and lobbying firm Mintz Levin.

Matthew C. Hicks has been promoted to member at law and lobbying firm Caplin & Dreysdale. Hicks was an associate in the tax controversies, tax litigation and tax crimes practice groups. He has worked as a trial attorney at the Justice Department’s tax division. He also has worked as a law clerk for U.S. Circuit Judge Frank E. Schwelb.

Joshua M. Davis is a member of the litigation practice group. He was an associate.

Jay Tibbets has been hired as senior vice president and interim president of the sporting group at ATK, an aerospace, defense, and commercial products company.

Chuck Reiche has been promoted to vice president of corporate business development at iGov. He was program manager for the tactical collaborative work suite program. He also served in the Marine Corps as a communications/information systems officer and defense acquisitions workforce professional.
