Stephen A. Holzen has been named director at Invotex. He was director of GreatBridge Consulting. He also has served as principal at The Kenrich Group. He was a director and associate at Ocean Tomo. He also has worked as a patent examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Mark Andersson has been appointed president and chief operations officer at Schafer Corp. He was COO of Applied Signal Technology Inc. He also worked in senior-level positions at Harris Corp.

John Heller has been promoted to chief operating officer at Engility Holdings Inc. He is currently president of the company’s professional support services division. He was president of IT services at Harris Corp. He also has served as vice president and general manager of the division’s Defense Department programs. He worked as president and chief operating officer of Multimax Inc. He was president and CEO of Netco Government Services.

John Craddock has been promoted to senior vice president for strategic relations at Engility. He is currently president of the mission support services division. He served as commanding general of the U.S. European Command as well as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander of Europe. He was also commanding officer of Allied Command Operations. He retired from the Army with the rank of general.

John W. Cox has been promoted to managing director at Alvarez & Marsal, a lobbying and professional services firm. Cox was a senior director with Alvarez & Marsal Public Sector Services. He has worked as an engagement director in the global public sector practice of Grant Thornton, a lobbying and professional services firm. He has also served as chief financial officer of the Housing and Urban Development Department under President George W. Bush.

Michael L. López has been hired as a principal associate at consulting firm Abt Associates. López was the executive director of the National Center for Latino Child & Family Research. He also has served at the Health and Human Services Department as the director of child outcomes research and evaluation for the Administration for Children and Families’ office of planning, research and evaluation.

Christine K. Cassel has been named president and CEO of the National Quality Forum. Cassel is the president and CEO of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the ABIM Foundation. She has worked as president of the American Federation for Aging Research and the American College of Physicians. She also has worked as Dean of the School of Medicine and Vice President for Medical Affairs at Oregon Health and Science University.

Dawn M. Bernd-Schulz has been named principal at Dawn Bernd-Shulz PLLC. Bernd-Schulz was a partner at law and lobbying firm Blank Rome. She has worked as an associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. She also has worked as an associate at Thelen, Reid, Brown, Raysman & Steiner.
