Rep. Mark Critz (D-Pa.) released an internal poll today showing him with a 10-point advantage over his Republican opponent, attorney Keith Rothfus.

Crits led Rothfus 46 percent to 36 percent in the survey paid for by the Congressman’s campaign and released to reporters.

Critz still faces an uphill battle for re-election in this southwestern Pennsylvania district. The Keystone State lost a House seat following reapportionment, and Republicans redrew the Congressional boundaries to force Critz into a Democratic primary with Rep. Jason Altmire in the same GOP-leaning district.

Critz defeated Altmire in the April primary, but now he’ll seek re-election in one of the most targeted House races in the country (Roll Call recently dubbed his seat a “White Whale” district). The national parties have already reserved $3 million in fall TV airtime for the 12th district race, and Republicans have already aired ads targeting Critz.

The Global Strategy Group poll surveyed 402 likely 12th district voters June 13-15. It had a margin of error of 4.9 points. Here’s the full polling memo from the Critz campaign:
