House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan turned down cake on Sunday.

The Wisconsin Republican was appearing on “Fox News Sunday” on his 42nd birthday, and host Chris Wallace did the classy thing and presented the P90X workout devotee with a cake with a giant green money sign. Bad move.

“We also want to note that it’s your birthday,” Wallace said.

“That’s right,” Ryan chuckled.

“Your 42nd birthday. We have a …” Wallace said, gesturing toward the money cake that appeared by Ryan’s shoulder.

“You gotta be kidding me!” the birthday boy gasped. “Where did you get this?!”

Um, probably a bakery or a grocery store.

“Wanna cut into that sucker?” Wallace asked.

“I don’t eat sweets,” Ryan said.

“I know, but it’s the federal dollar,” Wallace responded.

“Yeah, I see that. We’ve got to make more of these for people in this country,” Ryan said. Yea! Cake for all!

“Not cakes, dollars,” he quickly clarified. Killjoy.

Wallace then suggested, again, that the anti-cake Congressman cut into the treat.

“You don’t have to eat it,” he said.

“I’m not going to,” Ryan said.

Wow, dude, way to be no fun at all.
