HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Dating for Democrats

It’s a good thing Steve Schultz isn’t the type to get jealous.

One lucky bidder will win a lunch date with his wife, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, at a charity date auction sponsored by the Arlington Young Democrats on Wednesday.

A date with the Florida Democrat will be auctioned off alongside lunches with Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.), former Rep. Tom Perriello (D-Va.) and former Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe.

Proceeds from the event, which runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Clarendon Grill, will support the AYD and the Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network, a local charity that finds housing for the homeless.

HOH wonders whether bidders can upgrade to dinner and a movie.
