Paul Ryan to Fundraise for N.H. GOP

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) will make a trip to the first-in-the-nation presidential primary state next month to fundraise for local Republicans.

Ryan will headline a Feb. 26 fundraiser for the New Hampshire Republican state Committee, as well as host another money-raising event for Manchester Republicans and Young Republicans.

The ranking member on the House Budget Committee is considered to be a rising star in his party, but he has consistently brushed off any interest in running for national office. According to New Hampshire Republican party spokesman Ryan Williams, local party members requested that the six-term House Republicans visit the Granite State.
