Jim Traficant Unplugged

You can beam Jim Traficant up to your computer, courtesy of the NBC affiliate in Youngstown.

WFMJ-TV has posted a 40-minute video of a Thursday press conference at which Traficant, the former Ohio congressman who was convicted of federal corruption charges and expelled from Congress in 2002, said he’s weighing a 2010 campaign for the House.

Watch the video here. Traficant doesn’t disappoint. He addresses a variety of topics, including Youngstown boxer Kelly Pavlik, the world middleweight champion who has a fight Saturday in Youngstown, as well as Traficant’s efforts to bring a casino to Ohio’s Mahoning Valley.
