Cantor to Host Second Jobs Fair

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) will host a jobs fair in his district next week, his office announced Monday.

The event is the second Cantor has hosted on jobs this year; it will be held on Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Germanna Community College in Culpeper.

More than 40 business and federal agencies have confirmed they will attend, according to Cantor’s announcement.

“As we approach the holiday season, many families in our community continue to need help getting back to work,— Cantor said in a statement. “I hope that our Culpeper job fair will build on this effort to give even more Virginians the chance to get their lives back on track.—

Cantor’s jobs fair last summer attracted 86 employers and an estimated 3,500 job-seekers to a high school south of Richmond.
