McCain Arrives for Vote

Posted October 1, 2008 at 7:08pmPresidential nominee Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) arrived in the Senate for Wednesday nights vote on a Wall Street recovery plan.
McCain had dinner in Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnells (R-Ky.) office, accompanied by fellow Republicans Minority Whip Jon Kyl (Ariz.) and Sens. Bob Bennett (Utah), Jeff Sessions (Ala.), Tom Coburn (Okla.), Jim DeMint (S.C.) and John Sununu (N.H.).
The Senate plans to vote on the bill late Wednesday, after votes on an Amtrak bill and India nuclear agreement.
