Nevada: Titus Leads Porter in Democratic Poll on Race

According to a new Anzalone Liszt Research poll conducted for Democrat Dina Titus, the former state Senate Minority Leader is coming on strong despite entering the suburban Las Vegas 3rd district race just before the state’s May filing deadline.

Titus led Rep. Jon Porter (R) 43 percent to 39 percent with three third-party candidates combining for 10 percent and 7 percent responding that they were undecided.

When the choice was limited to just Titus and Porter, Titus’ lead increased to 50 percent to Porter’s 43 percent.

The poll also found that Porter had a 50 percent to 41 percent positive/negative rating compared with a 56 percent to 32 percent positive/negative response for Titus.

The survey of 500 likely voters was conducted July 23-28 and had a 4.4-point margin of error.
