Fire Breaks Out in Dirksen

A small fire began burning sometime within the past half hour in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, a Capitol Police spokeswoman confirmed.

It is unclear where the fire began in the building, Sgt. Kimberly Schneider said. Police officials are on the scene, Schneider said.
