Abby Livingston covers political campaigns for Roll Call.

She joined the newspaper after a tenure as a producer for CNN’s “John King, USA,” and a writer for CNN's Political Ticker. Prior to CNN, Abby covered the media through the political lens as an editor at the Hotline.

Abby started her journalism career as a desk assistant in the NBC News Washington bureau. She worked her way up to the Political Unit, where she researched stories for "Nightly News" and the "Today Show." She also wrote for NBC's "First Read."

A seventh-generation Texan, Abby graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She grew up in Fort Worth and has appeared in an episode of "The Bold and The Beautiful." She loves Springsteen and the Longhorns.
