Alison McSherry

Bio:

Alison McSherry is an award-winning journalist and one half of Roll Call's Heard on the Hill column, where she reports on gossip on and off Capitol Hill. Ali specializes in a variety of topics including, but not limited to, Members of Congress, social happenings in D.C. and restaurant openings. In addition to Heard on the Hill, she also pens the Congressional profile series Office Space and the bar column Mug Shots.

She has been covering Congress for more than four years. Ali began her career with CQ-Roll Call Group covering the Senate and later went on to act as the paper's chief feature writer before joining the HOH team.

She hails from the Jersey Shore and holds a bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University.

McSherry no longer works at Roll Call.
