Roll Call Creates Congressional Election Center on Congress.org

Generous Support of EcoDriving USA Makes Exclusive Roll Call Politics Content Available to the Public

WASHINGTON, D.C. – With days remaining until the election, Roll Call, Capitol Hill’s leading news source for coverage of the people, politics and process that shape the legislative landscape, today announced a bold initiative to create a unique Congressional election center on Congress.org that will serve as an information resource for politically engaged visitors.

“For years, Roll Call has been the No. 1 news source for Congressional opinion leaders and Congress.org is a destination for politically engaged citizens to contact these Congressional opinion leaders,” said Roll Call Group Managing Director and EVP Laurie Battaglia. “By providing access to Roll Call election content that Congress relies on, we hope that Congress.org visitors will make better and more informed decisions on Election Day and gain insight over the days to come.”

Access to Roll Call content on Congress.org is provided through the generous support of EcoDrivingUSA (www.ecodrivingusa.com) sponsored by the Auto Alliance.

Congress.org is one of the highest trafficked free Web sites for online grass-roots mobilization. When searching the term “Congress” in Google, Congress.org is the first search result. Congress.org was acquired by Roll Call in August 2008 and this is the first content initiative since the acquisition.

Roll Call’s Congressional Election Center will remain on Congress.org through election week, providing more readers with comprehensive election results and analysis.

Roll Call’s Congressional Election Center will feature:

  • • Original Roll Call election coverage
  • • Complete 2008 Roll Call Road Ahead Policy Series
  • • State-by-state analysis of every House and Senate race
