House Leaders to Hold Memorial for Slaughter
April 18 service in Statuary Hall will be open to members and late New York congresswoman’s family

The House will hold a memorial service in Statuary Hall on April 18 to honor the late Rep. Louise Slaughter, Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday. 

The 4 p.m. service will be open to members of Congress, Slaughter’s family and invited guests.
