Sen. Coons Reads Washington’s Farewell Address

On President George Washington’s birthday, Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., delivered the traditional Washington’s Farewell Address floor speech on Monday.  

“It is an incredible honor to be the first senator from Delaware to read George Washington’s Farewell Address,” Coons told HOH.

On Thursday, Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., tweeted “Dude, where's my car?”  

His black Ford sports utility vehicle had been stolen. By Thursday evening, he posted another tweet: “Dude, that's my car."  

Senate Competitiveness Caucus Looks at Changing Labor Market

After the final vote of the week on Thursday, several senators stuck around to speak on the country’s labor market and how it competes globally.  

Co-chairman of the Senate Competitiveness Caucus, Sens. Chris Coons, D-Del., teamed up with the Council on Competitiveness for a briefing on how the changing labor market presents both challenges and opportunities for America’s workers.
