Friday was the House room lottery draw on the Hill, and several members-elect brought lucky charms to make sure they drew a good number to have their pick of offices. Rep.-elect Abigail Spanberger drew No. 11 while wearing a scarf depicting the dozens of women who ran for office this election cycle. "It worked," she told Roll Call after the drawing.

RICHMOND, Va. — If Democrat Abigail Spanberger beats incumbent Republican Rep. Dave Brat here Tuesday, she’ll become the first woman to represent Virginia’s 7th District, but she might not be the only one making history on Election Day.
