Lawmakers grill Barr about past testimonies on Mueller report

Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee questioned Attorney General William Barr about his previous statements to Congress regarding special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation, one day after The Washington Post reported that Mueller contacted Barr in late March expressing dissatisfaction with the attorney general’s characterization of his report.
