Former Illinois Republican Representative Joe Walsh took a dive into the presidential pool Sunday by announcing a primary challenge to President Donald Trump.

Walsh, who served only one term in Congress as part of the tea party wave of 2010, joins former Massachusetts Governor William Weld in vying to unseat the president as the Republican Party’s nominee in the 2020 contest.
