Protester Escorted from Senate Gallery

Capitol Police shuttled Marina Meadows from the Senate on Tuesday evening after she shouted angry protests from the visitors' gallery. Witnesses said Meadows, 54, yelled, "You are killing my family!" No senators were on floor at the time. The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. The Miami, Fla., resident was arrested and charged with disruption of Congress, according to Capitol Police spokesman Shennell Antrobus.
