She previously was a staff writer for National Journal, a government affairs clerk at lobbying firm BGR Group and a communications specialist for the DuPage County Board in Illinois.
Robert Schwartz has been hired as an account executive at Prism Public Affairs. Schwartz was the vice president and social media manager at The Leslie F. Schwartz Pancreatic Cancer Research Foundation. He also has worked as an account executive at production company D S Simon Productions.
David J. Kappos has been elected as a member of the board of directors at the partnership for Public Service. Kappos is a partner at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He has served as undersecretary of Commerce and director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office under President Barack Obama. He also has worked as vice president and assistant general counsel for intellectual property at IBM.
