She also was an online communications manager for Tammy Duckworth’s 2012 congressional race in Illinois. She was membership coordinator at the City Club of Chicago, a public affairs forum.
Scott Migli has been hired as managing director of the Washington office at Wilson Perkins Allen Opinion Research, a polling company. Migli was vice president of polling firm Wilson Research Strategies and has worked as a director at lobbying firm DCI Group. He also has served as executive director of the Pennsylvania Republican Party.
Frank Macchiarola has joined the policy resolution group at law and lobbying firm Bracewell & Giuliani as a partner. Macchiarola was a Republican staff director for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. He has also worked as a Republican staff director for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
Yong Choe has been hired as vice president of federal affairs and public policy at Rite Aid Corp. Choe was the director of business outreach and member services for the House Republican Study Committee. He has worked as director of federal government affairs at trade group the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. He also has worked as a legislative clerk for the Republican staff of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Monique Hanis has been hired as vice president of marketing and communications and as chief operating officer at the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). Hanis was the director of communications for the Solar Energy Industries Association. She has worked as senior vice president of marketing and business development for America’s Community Bankers. She also has worked as senior vice president of marketing at the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Gregor Macintosh has been hired as senior director of standards at SFI. Macintosh was a forest certification auditor at professional services company KPMG PRI.
Beth Solomon has been hired as president and CEO of the National Association of Development Companies. She was vice president of strategic initiatives and industry relations for the International Franchise Association. Solomon was also a principal at CTPartners and communications director for the National Association of Manufacturers. She also has worked as an associate at William Morris Endeavor.
