Issa, who has emerged as a leader on Internet rights issues, is seeking legislation to give a clearer definition to consumers of what constitutes “fair use.”
Weinberg added that support from Issa could be the signal that other lawmakers need to get on board, noting, “He’s seen as a champion of rational intellectual property issues.”
