President Barack Obama won't serve a third term. That's one takeaway from his visit Saturday to cheer his niece's basketball team to victory in the NCAA tournament in College Park, Md., although Leslie Robinson didn't actually see playing time in Princeton's 80-70 victory over Green Bay.
During a break in the action with 4:24 left to play following a hard foul, Obama waved at the Princeton student body, fronted by a row of women with T-I-G-E-R-S painted on their tummies. They in turn chanted "Four more years! Four more years!"
Obama smiled and then made a gesture drawing his hand across his neck, per the photographers watching him, who were in the presidential pool along with CQ Roll Call.
Of course, Obama can't serve a third term under the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, unless Congress and the states were to adopt a new amendment allowing him to do so.
And that ain't happening.
As CQ Roll Call noted in the pool reports, Obama did bop his head slightly in time with "You Can't Touch This" at one point during a dance-off.
Obama seemed like he might be a bad luck charm at one point, given the undefeated Tigers were losing 35-34 at halftime, but they rallied to win.
