National Party Committees Raise Equal Amounts in March

Both the national party committees reported raising $10 million during March, but the Democrats are still $14 million in debt.  

The DNC Services Corp./Democratic National Committee  reported  receipts of $10,326,226 and disbursements of $7,496,555 during March, leaving $9,793,524 cash on hand as of March 31st, and debts outstanding of $14,125,405.  

The committee raised $5 million in small contributions of $200 or less, and raised $5 million from donors giving more than $200. Forty-eight donors gave the maximum, $32,400. They raised $190,909 from PACs and other committees.  

The committee spent $1.6 million on direct mail; $478,416 on salaries; $418,415 on data services; among other expenses. The committee repaid $1,875,000 on an outstanding loan. The committee gave $296,795 to affiliate committees.

The Republican National Committee reported receipts of $10,196,155 and disbursements of $7,902,462, leaving $12,318,951 cash on hand as of March 31st, and no debts.

The committee raised $5 million in small contributions of $200 or less, and $4.2 million in contributions over $200. The committee received $491,020 from joint fundraising committees. The committee received $227,500 from PACs and other committees. It’s largest contribution was $50,000 from Newcastle Ventures LLC.

The committee spent $1.78 million on postage; $1.2 million on mail production services; $877,952 on telemarketing; and $817,823 on payroll; among other expenses. The committee gave $824,515 to affiliated state party committees.
